Jesus Locket Pendant
Most of our online collection consists of beautiful and respectful images of Jesus that can be displayed on a wall or on a tabletop. But we are always on the lookout for items that our friends all over the world might find interesting. And so it was that one day, by chance, we came across a locket pendant that got our imaginations going. We loved the locket itself because of its unique and antique look. We loved the fact that it had two sides. And we further loved the faceted acrylic glass that enclosed each side.
This happy find was only the beginning. We ran back to the studio and set to work right away. We tried different images, different colors, several options for the reverse side. As it so often happens, at one point it became obvious: the front side would be a high quality, high resolution miniature picture of our best selling Jesus portrait - I Am The Way. The reverse side would be another miniature, the face of the Shroud of Turin, from which I Am The Way is derived.
We soon realized that the oval shape of the pendant was perfect for our image of the face of Jesus. It was made for it!
We then turned to color and, after lots of back and forth, we settled on two background colors: sky blue and ruby red. The Shroud face on the reverse side, of course, would match the front image.
So our little adventure came to a happy end and we are now pleased to offer you this lovely necklace, crafted with care and reverence.
You can find it here.
